NCSU Ticket Takers/Security
(Contact
)
When college sports are active, they will be found on the on-line
volunteer sign-up pages.
Volunteers will be ticket takers and
ushers at NC State sporting events. You will earn about $7-$8 for very easy work.
Please no college apparel other than NCSU. We do this for football games at
Carter-Finley in the fall. From November to
March we help at women's
basketball games at Reynolds Coliseum on campus. (For NC State men's basketball
games see the page for the RBC Center.)
If you are going to work any of the NCSU football games, please read the
following items. We are required to adhere to these rules established by Event
One Staffing:
- Park in lot H8 located on the right side of Trinity Road just after you
pass the Texaco station and hotel (driving from Cary)
- If lot H8 is full, you will have to park at Gate A in back of the lot.
This is about a 20 minute walk to the sign in gate.
- Tell the parking attendant that you are with Event One staffing so you
will not have to pay to park.
- Carpool, carpool, carpool. Parking is limited.
- Once inside, go to Gate 1 and sign in. Look for the Cary Band Booster
sheet.
- There will always be a pre-game briefing conducted by an Event One
Manager
- Dress Code - NO EXCEPTIONS. If not followed, you will have to leave:
Khaki pants (shorts or long pants)
Black comfortable shoes or sneakers
Plain black or brown belt
Shirt - an Event One golf style shirt will be provided
Jacket - if a jacket is required, an Event One jacket will be issued (must be
on outside - nothing can be worn over jacket)
Dress in layers for cooler weather
Hat - an Event One hat (you can purchase these) or an NC State hat. No others
accepted.
- All of the required information for that particular game will be
presented at the pre-game briefing.
