Cary Band Day for Spectators

Steps off at 10 a.m.

Route officially begins at the corner of Academy & Chatham (by Ashworth's Drugstore), proceeds down Academy, around the old Cary Elementary School building, and then continues down Walnut St. to end at Cary High School.

Best spots to watch? Along Academy and along Walnut (a little more elbow room here).

Field Show

(NOTE: All information given below is tentative and will firm up as Cary Band Day approaches.)

Opening Ceremonies, featuring The Cary High School Concert Chorus, begin at 11:50 a.m. at Cooper Stadium, Cary High School, corner of Walnut and Maynard. The first band begins competition at 12 noon.

Cost: $7 for ages 11-64, $3 for ages 65+, and free for ages 10 and under.

The Cary High School Marching Band will perform in exhibition twice, at approximately 5:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.

Two Awards Ceremonies--
Classes 1A, 2A, and 3A approximately 6:00 p.m.
Classes 4A and 5A approximately 10:45 p.m.
