Cary Band Day Parade

Information for Participants

The official parade route is 1.3 miles (intersection of Academy and Chatham to intersection of Walnut and Cary Towne Blvd.) Total distance from the staging area to the nearest restrooms past the end of the parade can be up to 2.2 miles.

NOTE: In the interest of safety, ALL riders must remain seated. ABSOLUTELY NO objects (candy, etc.) may be thrown to the spectators. There are NO exceptions to this rule. Children get hurt when they dash out to chase after things. PLEASE DO NOT THROW ANYTHING FROM VEHICLES. Thank you.

LINE-UP TIME: 9:00 a.m.

• All walkers meet at Urban Park, which is on Chatham Street near Crickets' garage.
• All vehicles meet on Waldo Street.
• All floats and boats meet on Cedar Street.
