Band Camp 2017 Registration

Band Camp starts Monday, July 31! Registration begins at 7:15am. Band Camp begins at 8:00am.

Please arrive in time to register – bringing completed forms will make the registration process faster.

This year we are collecting as much information as possible with our online registration form. Thanks in advance for completing this before Monday morning!

Financial Aid Request

WCPSS requires all Marching Band students to have accident insurance (typically covered by medical insurance). If your student does not have this, it can be purchased here. Please provide confirmation of purchase on Parental Consent form.

BOA Regional Competition

Our biggest competition of the season is coming up this Saturday, October 15.

The Bands of America Regional Competition will be help at Wake Forest University’s stadium in Winston Salem.

For a detailed schedule and spectator information click here. Our preliminary performance is scheduled for 10:15am.

Band Camp Registration

Band Camp begins Monday August 1. Registration will open at 7:30am before band camp begins at 8:00am.

All band members will need to check in at the registration tables when they arrive. Below is a list of forms that need to be completed/turned in that morning. We will also ask each student’s t-shirt size.

Arriving at registration with completed forms will make the registration process much faster.

WCPSS Parental Consent for Travel (ALL STUDENTS)

WCPSS Privacy Release (ALL STUDENTS)

Financial Obligation (ALL STUDENTS)

WCPSS Medication Form (Any student taking any medication, OTC or prescription during camp or a trip)

Marching Uniform Care (New marchers/pit or returning members who wish to change their cleaning agreement)

Color Guard Uniform Care (New members of Color Guard only)

Insurance Form: (ALL STUDENTS) WCPSS requires that each student have accident insurance. Having health insurance meets this requirement. Each student should bring a copy of his or her health insurance card, both front & back. If you cannot make a copy of the card ahead of time, there will be a copier on-site, but having a copy already made will expedite the registration process. If you do not have health insurance, accident insurance can be purchased through a company that WCPSS has contracted with. More information can be found here.

Dine Out May 11

Join us for a Dine Out Day on Wednesday, May 11 at Duck Donuts and Firehouse Subs in Cary, just off Kildaire Farm.

Duck Donuts hours: 6am – 7pm

Firehouse Subs hours: 10:30am – 10:00pm

Spaghetti Dinner – Macy’s Fundraiser

Join us Friday, April 29 at Cary High for a Spaghetti Dinner, cake auction & entertainment from the CHS Jazz Band.

Proceeds go toward the band’s trip to the Big Apple for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in November.
